Visas
If you have a British Working Visa or a European Passport, you will have no problem obtaining a social security card, which enables you to work on Jersey in the Tourism and Hospitality sectors.
In June 1998, The States of Jersey passed a law, which requires a minimum of five years continuous residency to work within the Finance industry. There are exceptions to this rule for candidates with specific skills and experience and some employers are permitted licenses to employ non-residentially qualified individuals.
