What information we collect:
Generally the type of information we collect about you is detailed on your application or CV, e.g. your name, address, telephone number, career history, etc. Where practical we collect this information directly from you, however there may be occasions when we obtain information from a third party e.g. from your nominated referees. If we are required to collect more sensitive personal information we will obtain your consent. Sensitive information includes racial or ethnic origin, memberships of associations, criminal record, health or disability, or political opinion.  Personal & sensitive information will be collected when:

• we receive a reference about you
• we receive results of any competency or medical test
• we receive performance feedback (positive or negative)
• we receive a complaint from or about you in the workplace
• we receive any information about a workplace accident in which you are involved
• we receive any information about any insurance investigation, litigation, criminal matter or inquiry in which you are involved.

How we use this Information:
Your personal information is collected, processed and held solely with regard to employment opportunities through AA Appointments. If you do not provide us with the information we require, we may be limited in our ability to provide you with our services. We may disclose your personal information to potential employers, clients who may wish to engage you as a contractor, a workers compensation body, our related entities, or depending on the circumstances the Australian Federal Police to verify whether you have a criminal record. We will not disclose your personal information to our clients without your consent.

Accuracy of your personal information:
If your personal information changes please contact us and we will endeavour to update and correct the information. We may also contact you from time to time to check the information is still correct.

Security of your information:
Your personal information may be stored in hardcopy or electronically. We have security procedures in place to protect your personal information.

Consent:
We will assume that in sending your resume to us you are consenting to our reasonable collection, use, and disclosure of the information it contains. You can gain access to the personal information we hold about you by written request. Any enquiries relating to access should be sent to:
